Sara Collins began her career in the Real Estate industry working for the second largest private home builder in the nation, John Laing Homes. Her education background includes graduating on the Deans’ List from California State Long Beach University with a Bachelors in Business Marketing and has had her Real Estate Broker’s license since 2010 in addition to completing all the MIRM (Master in Residential Marketing) courses through the National Association of Home Builders. She started off in Operations working for the President and Vice President of the South Coast Division. After learning the business, she shifted gears into Sales and Marketing working her way up from Marketing Assistant to Corporate Web Manager managing the company website and Sales and Marketing for all divisions coast to coast. In 2009 the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and Sara stuck with the company and worked through dismantling many divisions where she learned valuable lessons in processes and procedures and the need for streamlining and consistency across a company. After the company moved to a Chapter 7, Sara was hand selected to start up a new company called Emaar John Laing Homes. Due to the declining real estate market at the time, the new company was shut down and Sara assisted with the transfer of assets to an asset management company. Sara then transitioned into resale and has been an independent broker since 2010, managing the thriving company she owns, The Collins Group. She has worked with many different properties and clients including first time buyers, affordable housing, luxury high rise and custom beachfront property. Her skill set includes interior design, construction, negotiation and exceptional organization, communication, and customer service skills. With over 13 years of experience in real estate, her greatest accomplishment is being a wife to her husband Christian & a mother to her two beautiful children Cali and Scott Collins.
